I believe it was the key to this thread.
You guys are keen on 10bore which I have a lot of reloading implements but don't know how to post pics.
I prefer (and love) 8 bore, why can't you guys use 8 bore?
Same reason you can't use Lead? Is it because of the wuss police?
Wuss = softy, interfering nogood nobody.
Someone who is sad, misinformed, and likes to interfere.

What you're referring to is the PITA police (Pain In The Arse). They're right there alongside the PETA-philes.

Salopian - I think it is because 8 bore and larger bores were banned (for waterfowl shooting) in North America back in the mid 20's or 30's for fear of them becoming widespread market gunning tools taking great swathes of waterfowl. Ironic that an 8-gauge is not a punt gun which is what the focus of any legislation likely was targetting. I may be incorrect, but I think in some states, they can however still be used for turkey/pigeon etc?

I think it is a spanner wrench/screwdriver with a regular screwdriver on the other end. Some of my old handsaws have a nut that needs that kind of wrench to loosen the nuts. The slot is interrupted and you need one of those to get the blade off.
