Luckily card and felt wads are easily obtainable here in the U.K. and I use them most of the time for reloading; they are more or less essential in black powder reloads, and most European cartridge manufacturers make ammo with both felt or plastic wadding. A lot of clay grounds and game shoots insist on the use of felt wadding because of the spent plastic mess that gets left lying around. As tp pressure diffences with identical powder shot loads the felt wads should give a lower pressure. All the reloading manuals advise a 10% powder reduction if substituting plastic wads. Lagopus.....
