I hadn't heard of this grade of Win 21 before. Even if I had the disposible funds, this is way too "Liberace" for me. http://www.csmcspecials.com/product_p/21439.htm

See the top of page 316 of Ned Schwing's Model 21 book.

I'm really glad someone brought this up. I personally wouldn't buy a box of shotgun shells from these people, let alone a phony, non-Winchester proofed Model 21. I wish I could tell my story in this forum.....it would blow your mind.

There was an original Winchester Model 21 Grand Royal Grade. Only three or four made, if that many. I will have to check. They were beautiful and elegant.
This CSMC knock off is ugly and has no class at all! What the hell were they thinking? That engraving and inlays is horrid!

The ONLY Grand Royal Model 21's were made by U.S. Repeating Arms. They are very few and extremely rare! Dove did engraving on at least one.

Gag me with a spoon....What a train wreck! There have been others with CSMC Model 21 stories here, a really bad one involving a single trigger 16 gauge. You can't always get what you want.
Best, Ted

Man! That is a pimp's dream come true! Or maybe a middle eastern oil sheik.... I think John Olin must be spinning in his grave.

RHD45, you stole my thunder by using the "pimp" line first! And buzz, you realize now you've GOTTA tell your story. C'mon, nobody cares how long it would be, just do it! I'm DYING from the suspense..........PM the story to me if you don't want to tell it here!

I can't tell if CSM is saying Winchester made this gun or CSM made it.
