CMWILL,

You should post this over at one of the 1917 forums. Or I could if you wish, good info.

For the information of 1917 collectors, when I was in the Remington Archives in 1998, there were modern plastic gun cases full of 1917 bayonets and 1917 rifles that, in my opinion, had never been out of that building. I have no idea if Remington sells anything out of their collections on a regular basis, or not. Anyone know? I have asked this question before and have not ever gotten an answer.

Michael,

I am not a member of the 1917 forums so feel free to post the links wherever you want.

Ive spent quite a bit of time searching through the archive and have found some other interesting videos. There are a number of Browning BAR production videos and even some odd ones of police departments melting guns and turning them into plaques. There was even one of a police department dumping guns used in crimes into the ocean!

I have a feeling that the footage of guns being dipped in water is mislabeled and its probably an oil of some kind.

A thread on another forum reminded me that I have one Photo Of Osa in my collection. It says its her first big game hunt in America. She had found a good rifle by this time smile
