OP Smitty in CT Boxlock Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 8	Date code being 1973 makes sense... This particular one is stamped Pedersen - North Haven, CT... In late 1972 - early 1973, Pedersen Custom Guns imported a "handful" of Bernardelli O/U & SxS, as well as some from Beretta & Aramberri of Spain, to figure out which ones they would chose for their line of guns.. Pedersen wound up going with the Beretta BL-4 (model 1000) & GR-4 (Model 2000) for their "higher end" guns and with the Aramberri offerings for their "inexpensive" models (Models 1500 & 2500, respectively)... at the time, I guess they couldn't make enough profit going with the Bernardellis...
