it has been my experience that if a cylinder bore barrel is jug choked it will provide tighter patterns than before the work was done. ammo specs are also a contributing factor to pattern density.

it has also been my experience that adding choke tubes to a side by side gun is risky business. sometimes the gun will no longer shoot both barrels to same point of aim as before tubing work was performed.
