Find another gun. Vent rib is awful on that gun. AWFUL. JR

I don't know, doesn't bother me. I'll shoot a lot of clays with it, so maybe it'll be of help. I have a 20ga and 26ga hammer with no vent rib. Variety is the spice of life? I don't know, I'll think on it.

Based on your original inquiry, I'd go with Skeet and Light Modified for the first set. (Quail and Dove) - it would also work well with "Hunters" Sporting ClaysFor the second set, Light Modified and Improved Modified. (Pheasant) - This would work well with more competitive Sporting Clays

Thanks! That's pretty close to what I was thinking, but maybe IC/lt Mod and M/IM for second.
I'd almost prefer first barrel set a bit tighter than Skeet on first barrel and use "Spreader" loads for actual skeet shooting. Are Spreader loads legal to use in most sporting events or fun competitions?

If someone can tell the difference between IC/LtMod and IC/Mod and the other barrels at M/IM vs. M/F, they are A) extremely prolific shooters, or B) not coming close to centering their hits, IMO. But it does make for some serious banter. | | |

I don't know what the numbers mean, but for 26" or 28" barrels I would think either cyl or imp.cyl and mod. For 28 or 30" barrels I like cyl or imp cyl and full. For 32" barrels mod/full or full/full
I agree skeet 1, skeet 2, imp mod, imp full, lt full, ex. full?
Isn't Skeet 1 and Skeet 2 the same as imp. cylinder (.001-.010)?

28" screw chokes and a set of rifled shotgun barrels for big game. Sheesh!
