Hello Silvers, No misinformation from me. I do get confused at times but I have a very good memory. I remember the NCO that was moving to his new base in New Jersey with his LONG GUNS in his motor home RV and he got checked by the NJ police or highway patrol and they tried to crucify him. In the long run I think he was found not guilty of any serious crime but his life was miserable for years and no telling how much he spent on attorney fees. I think they stopped him to check his gas bottles or some other non traffic issue and the police asked questions and he answered the questions and his life was wrecked. I was once told by a knowledgeable lawyer that the answer is always "No sir, I do not have any firearms in the vehicle".

Yes,the NSCA is foolish to hold a shotgun shooting event in the state of New Jersey. The risk of harassment from the NJ police is just to high for an out of state shotgun shooter visiting NJ with his shotgun. Why would the NSCA hold an event in New Jersey and pump money into the NJ economy when New Jersey is so evil towards gun owners. The NSCA should be holding their events in gun friendly states and pumping money into the gun friendly states. Why reward NJ with our business when they hate us ! All of the NSCA/Vintager/Skeet/Trap shooters should boycott any event in the state of New Jersey. We should not give NJ a dime of our money or an ounce of our business.

I've been to Griffin & Howe's shoots at Hudson Farm in NJ and never heard of any problems.

I see the NSCA offers a complimentary membership for first time shooters. Looks like a good opportunity to give it a try.

I shot the SXS class there yesterday. Targets were very challenging and it was great fun. They have about 1200 shooters total registered for the weekend. Over 50 people shot the SXS class.

The question in my mind, is: Why in the world would a pro-gun organization (ANY pro-gun org) plan or schedule ANY type of firearm-related event in such an anti-gun, draconian location?

For that matter, I wonder why so many gun manufacturers are located in the anti-gun (in general) north-east. You're just feeding the anti-gun machine with your taxes...

Must be a reference to the ATA moving the largest shooting tournament in the world to the gun friendly state of Illinois? As always, follow the money.
