Finally! Thanks Roy for posting great pictures confirming that my old Beretta was in fact the Model 410E as I had thought. I'd never seen pics before of the double scalloped back of the frame. Mine's dated 1952 and has an articulated front trigger and rather surprisingly well figured wood...Geo


George, have you checked the underside of your forend wood? Beretta model numbers were often marked there. The OLD Silver Hawks from the 50's and 60's, which were in fact 409's with some adjustments for the American market, are usually stamped "409" in the forend wood.
