What a nice find! Looks to be in excellent condition. Beretta kept changing their barrel composition from year to year. It was even more chaotic in the 1930's. I am sure they were always looking to produce the gun at the same price point from year to year. Beretta has never been known to produce junk, I would not be concerned.

I picked up a 20ga about 10 years younger, circa 1963. Wish I could have got it for any where near that price.
