BUT, ever since I popped a champagne cork across the room when she was a pup she goes berserk when a bottle of bubbly appears. No barking or whining for bordeaux or burg. And now, not shooting the champagne cork across the room gets the same "you gotta be kidding me!" stinkeye as a missed straightaway pheasant. The retrieve to hand of the cork is part of the process.
