Once owned a gun by Thomas Wild that was built on a Belgian barreled action. Birmingham proofed but with Belgian provisional marks .The late Rowland Watson told me that they built a number of guns on these actions around 1910. There were also a lot of imported Belgian tubes used in the Birmingham trade over the years again with Belgian provisional marks .

As to Mr Henry ,is there no other detail? Address etc? where is the gun signed, if it has only the name on the barrel then it is most likely the retailer, although it has been known for an owner to have his name put on his gun .
