Remington drawings of the time for Parker shotguns show chambers 1/8 inch shorter than the shells they were meant to accommodate. The shells of the day being 2 3/4, the chambers will probably be 2 5/8 inches. I don't know what the Model 32 advertising claimed for standard chamber length. However, old #273 (in my lap at this time)seems to have full 2 3/4 inch chambers so I wouldn't be alarmed if your was anywhere between 2 5/8 and 2 3/4. #273 seems to be all original in every other respect.
