Your Greener is an early Self-Acting ejector model probably from around 1890. I had one almost identical to it that had S/N 399XX that was made around the time of the 1892 Chicago Exposition and sold through their N.Y office. If you write to Greener, they can tell you every workman who touched that gun as it was built and what they were paid for their portion of the work,as well as shipping date. Also, when you operate this type design, you have to open it to full open position to actuate ejectors(off main springs),and properly cock the hammers. It also has intercepting sears just as all other Best grades. The Imperial(G70), and Exhibition grades were the only higher grades Greener built in this time frame. Best regards, Marcus
