I had the pleasure of meeting the great nephew of Mr A fox at a trade function in London this year ,he told some tales of his uncles business ventures. It would seem Mr Fox was something of a showman who's business ethics may not have been whiter than white. It would therefore be of no surprise if he did not ,shall we say "borrow ideas" from others . The whole of the gun trade in the late 19th and early 20th centuries were all trying to out do each other and get around each others patents. Greener and Bonehill for example, went to court over supposed infringement of patents.
