Thanks for the comments on the photos, it was a quick attempt to get them on line. Only problem was the markings not showing up well, but if any additional photos are need I'll be glad to take them. I wondered about the light stock finish and wondered if it could have been redone. It strongly resembles the finishes that came out of Jaeger. Possible this could have been done at the time the pad was replaced. If it was refinished, it was done well. Even if not a completely original Sedgley, I find it an attractive rifle which fits me well. So planning to use it. No scope, I'd rather not mess up the lines and prefer to use the Lyman 48. If I want longer range shooting, I've got a 338 Win Mag.
