Researcher Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 5,950 Likes: 145 WA/AK	Along about 1915 Ithaca changed their engraving styles to the bolder style chisling just like Fox and L.C. Smith did a year or two earlier. The bold McGraw style carrie on into the NIDs.

The wood finish seems grainy and worn, in comparison with the absolutely beautiful and 100% intact case. Plus, I am sure that it didnt leave the factory with 3-1/2"chambers. Maybe the guy who is saying that is wrong, it the forcing cones have merely been lengthened? One can always hope.
