This is a pic of a gun I used to own. An 1887 J. Lang London Best Gun. The barrel brown was a brown/plum color that I really, really liked. It was rebrowned many years ago in England but I don't know who did the work.

That was the quality I was hoping to receive for the aforementioned guns but I do not know if this color is appropriate for the guns in question.
