My 20 ga NID is one of the last ones, it says New Ithaca Field Grade on the right bbl. Barrels are 26" and marked 1 & 2 for chokes, no cocking indicators.
Jakearoo, I don't know if anybody has or will notice it or not, but >whisper< (you misspelled Ithaca). Not a huge problem, just might save you a little embarassment some day if anybody happens to notice.

Ok, the price tag on this 16 NID with a cut stock, some case, decent blue but generally plain old shape was $800. I suspect he would negociate. I WILL get more info. but what is you'alls take on the value? Jake

I believe the catalog that Walt reprinted in 1991 to send with his early printings of his book were the catalogs that represented Ithaca guns as Ithaca guns, but represented the company that manufactured them as the Ithica Gun Company, yes, right there on the cover.

I'd say a decent NID in 20ga would be worth $800 easy, short stock or not. If he'll take less, so much the better!
