I have used SMLE No1 MkIII Rifle 'inside barrel band' for such swivel bands as on the Sedgley.
They were cheap(!), already had a lug on the bottom with a hole in it & tapped. Though I usually ended up retapping it to a common size for my shop made swivel stud that screwed into it from the outside, bottom of the forend.

They are approx .700"+ ID,,so that may limit it's application.
The SMLE bbl is quite a slim taper.
But I found a use for them on many occasions on projects I was working on.

The band wall thickness varys a bit between .060 & .070 IIRC, War time mfg and all that.
There is a very slight taper to the hole,,not much,,a couple .000" at most. Maybe that's just from crush fit on the rifles. They may have been made a straight bore.

It takes some work to fit it to a tapered barrel (if the already .700" dia is usable) and then file up the band to taper it up to the edges, etc.

Make a swivel stud to screw into the band, threads to match, with a shoulder to draw against the wood. Make the head any size you like to match your TD swivel.

You can still get the SMLE inner band from MilSurp parts dealers.
A large flat headed screw is what engages the band in the original SMLE from the bottom and the band is hidden by the forward handguard.

(I don't think the band is a part found on the later #4 SMLE,,I had no interest in those!,,Just the WW1 No1MkIII rifle.)
Saves a lot of work making one up to this point,,but there's still fitting to be done. You'd have to do that anyway.
