... Homeland security has expressed concern and local authorities have been notified. ... I heard Homeland Security's "concern" was "...where are you again?" and the "local authorities" is the postmaster that drives out that way a couple times a month, whether he has mail to deliver or not.

It will be interesting to see how well seven experienced bird hunters that have never hunted together coordinate behind LDs hunting dogs.

Chuck, It's Post Mistress, and she comes out whenever she feels like it..Coordinate is not a word to be used with this group. Mike will bring his turdhounds, Chuck H will have a just about new English Pointer, Rocdoc is bringing his lab, Daryl has a fairly new pup and I have my Brits. What I am looking forward to,is putting them all down at once in a neighbors full section of CRP that has not been hunted in 5-6 years. Joe and Mike will remember it. Just for fun we used to stop and slam some doors and watch literally WAVES of birds lift. We get to hunt it this year...Should be a circus..

It'll be a frigging free for all! And with all the smoke and explosions going off all over the place by those of questionable sobriety a foxhole will be my choice for the duration. Gonna watch Mike's whereabouts pretty close though 'n follow up his tracks. He'll loose more high dollar goodies in the course of a day than most respectable sporting good stores total inventory. He's a purty good marathon runner--has to be to keep up with those turd hounds he flipantly calls "bird dogs". Lordy! And then he puts 'em in the car with US! Yuk!!! A city sanitation worker smells better than Mike at the end of the day.

Can you provide an equipment list of what Mike will be carrying? I can cross check that against the list of things I might need. Oh, and thanks for the tip about Mike, I'll be sure and stay upwind.
