Local guy has a Ruger Red Label 28 gauge in 95%+ condition for sale. Has 26 inch barrels, all five choke tubes, straight grip. Nust a very few handling marks on the wood and virtually 100% blue.
What would be a fair price to pay him?
Thanks.

Hi:
The last time that I checked, my dealer was selling these new for $1147.00 plus tax.
They are a sweet gun!

There is an engraved RRL 28 with PG/28" on GunBroker now, seven bids sitting at $1225. The RRL 28's are very nice guns (I have one) but I think I'd hold out for a straight grip and 28" bbls. The gun is question is probably an $800 item to someone who likes 26" barrels.

i recently sold a like new straight grip 28 gauge rrl without engraving for $1000. i sold a similar gun last year for $1100. next year they will probably be going for less...hopefully, after we dump obummer, prices with get back to 2007 levels sooner than later? these fine guns used to sell for $1200 nib.
keep it simple and keep it safe...
