I need a trustworthy and talented wood repair guy. I have a gun that has a sling swivel (that REALLY shouldnt be there BTW) that was installed close to the butt plate which caused a crack in the stock. The crack was subsequently repaired (poorly in my opinion). The sling swivel remains. What I want is this-- the sling swivel removed, the hole repaired and the crack re-repaired. I want this to be virtually invisible as this is a really nice, old collectable (and expensive) gun except for the aforementioned damage.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
