There was a similar post on this topic a few weeks ago, and it prompted me to watch some of these shows as my service comes with both of the outdoor channels. I usually scan these channels to see if they have some fly fishing or upland hunting on during the day, but its usually as described, watching some hero duke it out in a tree stand or calling in some turkeys over decoys. Did anyone else see Ms. Cook take a shot at a buck with an arrow (from a tree stand) at what I estimated to be close to a 100 yards? She hit it in the gut and then left it to die overnight. When she came back to find it the morning she did give some lip service to how she hated to do that, but then why did she take the shot? Hunting ethics and sportsmanship are not part of the economic formula to producing these shows.
