I have a smooth '03 bolt body. I think it's an 03A3 as it's stamped 'R' on the bottom side of the handle root.
Someone ground a bit of relief to the forward edge of the horizontal section of the handle and the front ot that area. Didn't touch the cam. Some light back and forth Dremel polish marks on it to brighten it at one time.
Maybe a welder like yourself can fix it up easily. The handle has the slight bend to the rear.
(I know little about these!)
I can't use it for anything,,you can have it if you want it.
