JDW, "Revdocdrew, that L.C. Smith you posted from Cabela's, the one that Turnbull restored, I never new they had a Hunter Grade with sidelocks plus the marking on the barrel rib were different. For that price, I bet the barrels are a marriage. It is an older Regular frame gun, with the chambers opened. Turnbull's work alone on that is probably 2 figures."

The Term "Hunter Grade" was a mistake. Some Cabela D.A. didn't know what the hell he was talking about. The gun is most likely original. The barrel markings are late Hunter type. Just look in the new L.C.Smith book, there are several pictured with those markings.
