And AFA the "Americanized" meathead appellation goes, the first so-called beavertails and monte carlo combs were on MOSTLY BRIT MADE pigeon guns IIRC but I suppose claiming it as Mercan is somewhat patriotic.. And just 'cuz it's ugly doesn't make it "American" either. I give you countless German guns as evidence, past and present.
