Just over 24 hour until the BIG EVENT!!!
Unfortunately Vanna White has the flu and couldn't make it, or the most recent taping of Wheel of Fortune, leaving me to enlist the aid of a local babe for the drawing. At approximately 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time my associate babe will draw from a genuine hand-made palm-straw sombrero I acquired while helping the insurgent indigineos in the state of Campeche in 1978 at a volunteer in-service after receiving my AAS semi-degree, with a Major in Gunsmithing from TSJC. The drawing will take place in front of the bank vault where each entry is secured under the head of the dead kudu.
At this writing there are nearly 26(?) entrants in the ORIGINAL DGS.com, Classic & Custom Single Barreled Sporting Rifles First Ever Karma Event. One extremely lucky entrant will receive an ex libris and binding repaired copy of the highly desirable 1943 First Edition of Gun CAre and Repair by the esteemed author Charles Edward Chapel, First Lieutenant, U.S. Marine Corps, Retired.
Noted Forum participant not entered in this contest are m.benenson and m.petrov (who most assuredly already have copies) Alvin Linden, Mike Hunter, several others, unknown lurkers and KVN (who might be in my shop at the time of the drawing retrieving his Mannilicher Shoenauer and M-99 Savage and would therefor be ineligible, but who could act as a witness and therefor verify the validity of the results).
!!!!! - THIS IS THE LAST AND FINAL CALL FOR ENTRIES - !!!! Don't complain about missing this golden opportunity after the event.
