Several months ago we learned that A.G. & Lang was changing hands. In a second thread we learned that it came to nothing, seemingly on a legitimate disagreement about the terms of that eventual transaction. In this thread we also knew that a rather outspoken gent predicted that the previous owner was not going to be able to regain control over A.G. & L., because he had a legal case that would bar him from doing so. I have been unable to find news on who is in charge now, while looking at its website it looks that it is still operating. There is anybody here that could enlight us on who owns this prestigious firm today?

I think Mr. Duglan is still involved as the head of gunmaking or something like that.

Thanks OWD, it looks that it was a rather recent operation. Good to know that Ken Duglan will have a role in that company.

All of the A,G & L stock has been listed for sale on the Francis Lovel website for many months.

Francis Lovel is a well respected gentlemen in the trade. He will do well with this acquisition and AG&L will do well also.

Looks like Lovel has listed some of his inventory in Holt's next upcoming auction.

Most gunshops dump a whole heap into each Holts sale. Lot's into the sealed bid section too.
