No, we still don't see serious trapshooters using 1 oz 20s. And a 2.5" 12 still (usually) throws more uniform patterns than the 1 oz 28.

Neither of these things invalidates 1 oz 20s (or 1 oz 28s.....or 3" .410s) b/c they offer demonstrable performance increases over the standard hull length/payloads for those who use those bore diameters. Why must I regard "efficiency" as sacred?

We don't even need to introduce non-tox into the discussion.
