I'm researching 2" chambered guns and having the devil of a time trying to get the following information. What is the width across the breech face of the Arrieta 2" chambered 12 gauge. These were brought is as the Wingshooters Light Game Gun by Jack Jansma and also by G&H. I know they are smaller that the standard 12 gauge Arrieta. Although some British 2 inchers were made on full size frames, most were quite slim and I already know their dimensions. I'm curious to know how the Arrietas stack up. When AYA made some 2 inchers they were the same size and weight as their standard 12 gauge guns and of course were ridiculous. I'll appreciate any information. nial

As all Arrietas are hand made, their dimensions may vary by a few thousandths from gun to gun. If you measure one 2" Arrieta across the breech face it, more than likely, will not measure the same as the next 2" Arrieta across the breech face.
You might want to go to directly to the source and ask them, here's their e-mail address: info@arrietashotguns.com

Frustrating to say the least. As I just posted; "I'm having the devil of a time". I've tried Arrieta. I've tried G&H. I've tried other internet sites. No dice. Lots of opinions but no actual measurements. nial

Maybe try e-mailing Jack Jansma in Coopersville, MI- believe he also runs his ads in the DBJ-- he should know!

Is that in line with a standard, 12g Arrieta?
Would love to know.
Thanks

Dave, you may be interested to know that the standard Arrieta 12 gauge measures 2 5/32" across the breech face. So far your Arrieta beats all the British 2 inchers I know of for slimness. They also sell very quickly. nial

1/16" doesn't seem like much of a difference. Is a standard 12ga Arrieta breech similar to most other European 12ga guns? Dave
