Tom, I've only seen one "in the flesh", and I can't say I was overly impressed, for the money. L-C has been making sidelocks for quite some time, so I expect it's built on their own action, although I suppose it's possible they came up with something different for Browning.

I used to think the Miroku-made BSS Sidelocks were pretty good buys, but prices on those have been going up a lot lately--although the 12's are still competitive with the AyA #2 and most other entry-level Spanish sidelocks.
