I use about 1 bag of shot about every two weeks.

For my 28 and 410 loads #9 is great for skeet.
Works great also in the larger gauges, but can also get
by with shot up to 7.5.
Use it up or send it to me smile

For hunting, I feel #9 is a bit small and can wound.
7 or 7.5 or even 8s are better for that.
