Added the schnabel forend pix to my "beak collection:" don't much like either one but they are "unique."
The butterknife bolt handle on the second Springfield seems out of place somehow.
I like the LOOKS of "butterknife" handles but wonder if they don't slow down the working of the action somewhat. Since I'm not a bolt action guy and work the actions of my few bolts about as fast as I can reload a Ruger #1 or a 'Wall, I wonder if others who are experienced bolt users find those handles slower than a full knob bolt?
