Ken, surprised to see you over on this side. A very nice-looking rifle regardless of who made it. Many of the Pachmayr rifles are marked in the barrel channel. When you pull the action out of the wood see if there is a serial number on the flat of the action.

Did the auction say if it was by August or Frank?

If it's not marked in the barrel channel hopefully someone will recognize the work.
