I just shot my new-to-me Bernardelli Brescia hammer 12 for the first time this weekend on doves, and it did ring like a tuning fork on every shot. Also really loud, sounded like a 10 to the guys I was hunting with. Loads were 1200fps, 1oz.


Interesting! I've never owned a double that made a noise other than "ka boom" when I pulled the trigger.
I personally believe this is one of the doubles redeeming qualities!
