Thanks for the response. I will pull the stock this week and report back on what I find.

MP: I've been lurking on this side of the board for awhile trying to learn. It occurred to me a year or two ago that my rifle battery was pretty thin so I have been slowly trying to rectify that with the addition of a few quality guns. I added an older (though post-WWII I beleive) custom gun built on a VZ24 action in 7x57 earlier in the year.
