Have the barrels checked out to make sure they are safe to use low pressure loads in. If not you still could get or borrow a set of Briley tubes to shoot small gauge, 20 or 28 shells safely in it. Hammer guns are a real hoot to shoot at skeet or pen raised birds.
The stock repair is something you should be able to do yourself. Not like you are working on a ten grand gun here. Several here can talk you through it if you like.
Not everyone here has or wants a ten grand gun to shoot. Many just want a gun to play with and forget their problems in life. Others should consider that fact before they show up and run down another mans potential project gun. As projects go if the barrels are decent this one looks like an easy fun project. Even the hammer can be made better with very little work.
Lighten up, load two shells and find something to shoot instead of running down every old gun posted here. The trolls and jerks are starting to make this a sad place to hang out.
