Brent:
Doing all my own work, CCH, Wood, rust blue etc., I've rebuilt about 15 of the model 1893 Marlins in 32-40..38-55...30 WCF...and so forth.....I collect these and cast bullets and hunt with them often....I also buy and shoot Hawk .377 soft copper jacketed bullets sometimes, which shoot quite well in the old 38-55 Marlin 1-20 twist barrels which all seem to run about .380 or .381....for the majority though, I shoot my own cast bullets and lube & size these cast bullets at .380....

THANKS FOR THE PM'S BRENT...GOOD IDEA...AGREED

Also casting and loading for the 32-40, 30-30 and .32 Marlin pre-1899 guns I've restored......and a bunch of Winchesters in different calibers......including 38-55......

This particular 1893 in 38-55 I restored and is lettered with Cody as shipped from the factory on August 3, 1895....

Best Regards,

Doug
