Started from shakeytown toward this gathering in Bird City around 3:00 a.m. . Hit some bad stuff just south of Flagstaff. This is gonna be harder'n I thought.

I'm sure it'll all be worth it. Actually, truth be told I'm jealous. I'd love to shoot birds in the midwest, someday I hope I get the chance.

I brought 4 .410s, a 28g, a 20g, and,2 12g. I'll try to post pics of everyones guns if I make it to the promised land. Mother nature is fighting us all the way. We hit another heavy snow in Albuquerque and just decided this was a nice place to stop.

Thanks Chuck you guys are going to have a blast. Interesting to see how you guys work those big Kansas cornfields.
I know Marc, I never seen so many birds in my entire life then I did when I went to South Dakota for two weeks. I was driving down a road and at least a dozen Bob Whites raced across the road in front of my truck. I almost hit a tree I was so shocked.

I sincerely hope that you guys have the best hunt of your lives. Daryl will be there with the rest of the Lefever fans in Las Vegas. I would be more than happy to meet those others on this adventure. Best of luck to you all!
