Great stuff LD!!!! Mike looks like he's using his Parker, 16 gauge? Chuck is frickin deadly with that 410 of his. And to think, at one time you wanted to sell that Nitro Special. Joe, what the heck happened?

Looks like you gents are having a great time out there, but one has to wonder what kinda se'ance was taking place in that group pic. Might guess at -15, that the guy with the most dogs slept best. For frozen fingered trigger pullers you guys look pretty good; that ain't the same as pretty, probably have to give that title to the dogs.
Thanks for sharing the grins guys! I'd almost ask if those grinning in the group pic shot better or didn't have to use the W-word [WHOA, you _ _ _!, WHOA!] than those w/solemn expressions. Naww, that wouldn't be fair;-)
Best to all of you and a safe return home too!

Day 2 almost over..I bought a delightful 16 bore WW Jeffery, which I shot today. 3 roosters with 3 shots..Body count not complete as yet. I had 7 in the pickup, and I think there wil be more...Day turned out to be lovely. No wind, bright sun. Joe Wood went home with a bad ankle. Daryl headed north to beat the next storm..Pics to follow...We used duct tape on the guy with the whoa dogs...Marinated tri tips tonite, maybe an adult beverage..

Last Dollar, Thanks for posting the great pictures of the Kansas prairie hunt and hunters. It's all a little different from woodcock cover and looks like fun.
