That's a good idea. Might try that. I think I also need a little more drop in the stock.

Don, Thanks for the reference guns. If you're going to be in Las Vegas, I may take the time to drag a few small gauge guns up there for you to swing.

Plan to be there, Chuck, MOI in tow. We need to make a meeting. I'd love to spin your guns.

danross70, see the following chart for the SKB's I have. Nothing exactly as you asked. But, I think there is enough to learn something. The two 20 bores make a very interesting comparison. Note the difference in unmounted swing effort and HWR. Is the 280E an aluminum receiver gun where the 100 is steel? The 280E is bound to have heavy barrels and stock compared to the 100. The 100 20 bore is a fairly typical "light game gun" for handling numbers. I don't usually shoot such guns well (think Mr. Hamfist), so I'm gonna defer to Joe in Charlotte who truely understands such guns. Joe? The 12 bore guns follow a pretty clear pattern - again, assuming the 385 is an aluminum receiver. Questions?

Don, Just as a point of interest have you swung a Krieghoff K80 v Perazzi MX8 v Browning 525 or 625 v Beretta DT10. All very popular sporting clays gun vying for supremacy in the buyers stakes.

Better include a Blaser in that group, now. I think the K80 and the MX8 are light years apart in handling characteristics, preferring MX8s myself. However, the Blaser is the best handling new gun I've seen lately, and the trigger on it is awesome.
On second thought, no sense in checking the Blaser. Handling on it is so adjustable, with the movable weights, that you'd have to check it many different ways.
