Well, I concur with Rockdoc, Chuck H., and others. The hunt was so much fun and the Host Chuck and Hostess Diane were just the best. I have mentioned more than once the wonderful guns on display, and I'll try to remember some in this post, knowing that I will forget some, so others in attendance might help. We saw--------------Parkers in G, D, and a lovely AHE 20 bore. Some other Parkers for sure. Light guns such as a 5 pound range Francotte 16, a French guild 16, a Greener Monarch Imperial G70 16 bore, and several 410s that others will name. English 12 bore by Hollis Bentley and Playfair [sle] and a fine Scott hammer 12 bore [ca 1869], a Greener 12 bore hammer gun in high condition with self acting strikers , wonderful Wilson double flintlock almost unused from the early 1800s,a Daly Diamond quality 16 with beautiful Bernard type barrels, a Purdey 20 bore best SLE, Lefever 16 bore high condition H with pretty twist barrels weighing just over 6 pounds, Parker repro DHE 20 bore, ----------several others I am forgetting at the moment. Cheers to Chuck Kribs for his work and choosing the "format".
