These roosters were taken with my Fox AE. My lab was right at home in the 17F temps.

Steve (Rockdoc) takes a rest after a walk in the snow. Steve brought his Golden Retriever, Samba. I didn't get pics of him and Samba

We saw these turkeys over by the Sheriff's house on the last day.

Last Dollar had a meeting on our last day, but he said it was o.k. to hunt the Sheriff's place. When we went over to hunt the Sheriff's place, I noted a van stopped at the corner. It was there quite a while. We were trying to cover a fair sized arroyo that had cover in it and we were watching about a hundred pheasant stirring about in it. Long story short, the birds got out of there before we got in there. But by the time we came out, the Under Sheriff, Cody(as he introduced himself by first name. cops are friendly there you see), was waiting for us. He said the folks in the van had called him thinking we were some hunters who had left a deer carcus along the road that their dogs had dragged home. He recognized us as "the doublegun group" (we were famous! grin) and we were uncuffed from facedown in the snow and let go. (I made that last part up grin )

Hopefully, Daryl, Steve Bertram, and Joe will post some pics of their fine guns that made it to Kansas.

Chuck, if Kansas has a minimum standard for doubleguns, you fellas clearly exceeded it by a mile. Beautiful guns, great hunt and fellowship. You guys have pegged the envyometer of us lesser mortals on several grounds (not including the temps or Joe's orthopedic disaster). Gil

Here are a couple of guns I had along. Also had a Repro Parker 20, but you all have seen lots of those.

Daryl, on your G70 are those Wrought steel barrels or Whitworth steel?

Thanks!
