OK, the engraved gun is not an original engraved Crescent. Gold Bands ? Mushed edges of the engraving ? Even lower grade Crescents had halfway decent checkering. I hope the "committee" reconsiders, but if you want a "custom" Crescent at an acceptable price, go ahead and bid, but not too much. At a high price , these are casket guns.
