Ah, hah. I stumbled upon a very similar drilling by the Munitions & Weapons Factory Sömmerda, which was an offshoot of the Dreyse Company and an image of the leaf spring sporting arm can be found on page 22 of GGCA Issue No. 23 of Fall 2004. I suspect that it too was sourced from the very talented Suhl pool of mechanics. I wonder if there was some Dreyse-Schrader collaboration?? I forgot to note that I think it was Heinrich Ehrhardt's firm that acquired the Dreyse or Munitions & Weapons Factory of Sömmerda in 1901 I believe. And by some attachment, it seems that Heinrich Ehrhardt & Meffert were joined at the hip.
