Dave, you must have in mind an arbiter to choose those worthy in the pantheon of the greats, eh? Joe's idea is a good one. It's a responsibility of citizenship and camaraderie to honour, pay tribute, to cite accomplishments and the living to a high standard of human values. Most of us who've been here for a while know who they are. Little could improve on sentiments expressed at time of their deaths. It's no easy task to choose, marking the particular significance of their passing, so that commemoration is a special place and not another obituary column.
