Are you actually going to use the Parker pigeon gun for serious pigeon shooting, or just wanted one built in that configuration?

Reason I ask is, I'm surprised at wanting a gun built for shooting heavy loads (3 3/4 - 1 1/4) with a straight grip. My experience has been that I get much better recoil control, and a quicker recovery for the second shot, with some sort of pistol grip. I like straight grips, but not for heavy loads, Mr. Buckingham notwithstanding. Maybe just me, tho'.
