Depending on the type of choke wrench, one can often wrap a bit of 1000 grit sandpaper around the wrench to give it a bit more friction when trying to turn out the choke.

No need for all that .It came out OK with the usual methods. Only been defeated once in the last ten years .Most times you just need a well fitting choke key that you can put some strength behind .If not, then there are ways and means. But I will not tell, as I do not want you getting night mares.

Senokot (Senna)www.nlm.nih.gov Senna is used on a short-term basis to treat constipation. It also is used to empty the bowels before surgery and certain medical procedures. Senna is in a class of medications called stimulant laxatives. It works by increasing activity of the intestines to cause a bowel movement. Senna comes as a liquid, powde

I have never had a stuck choke tube. I own 6 or 7 guns that are threaded for them. I cannot imagine leaving a choke tube in a gun long enough for it to get stuck, or putting one in without the proper thread lube. Good maintenance will prevent this from ever happening.

Undoubtedly true. But, not everyone does that. I'd like to meet the idiot who suggested vinegar. Vinegar is dilute acetic acid. Stooopid.
I've had luck with a simple heat gun. Don't go nuts with the thing and unsolder stuff, but it does work.
I even had a Beretta that the owner shot a couple cases of steel through (before the steel rated tubes) and the choke belled into the thread causing permanent deformation of the barrel.
I tore up a Brownell's 'stuck choke' remover on that one, but eventually removed it with the heat gun and what was left of the Brownell's tool. No knock against the tool, it's a good tool but it has limits.

Salopian, is not that poultice for boils on the bum that my granny made up? Have you noticed nobody seemingly has boils on the bum any more? Nor sties in the eye? I was plagued with eyelid infections as a boy, sties I think they were called, or styes? Just not fashionable now, I guess? And impetigo, that skin infection would sweep through a 1960 Brit like the plague it was. Oh, well....

If God had wanted choke tubes, all good guns would have been hatched with threads..I have found any good penetrating oil (not KY jelly) and patience will work.............
