It is unfailing, though messy. I don't use it on my choke tubes, though. IMO, the secret to not having stuck choke tubes is not what thread lube you use, but rather removing the choke tube after every use, cleaning tube and barrel threads, lubing with any good heavy lube and re-inserting. As I said earlier, maintenance. Remember - DECOR. Disassemble, Evaluate, Clean, Oil, Re-assemble. SRH May God bless America and those who defend her.
